A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress, Engr Funom Kato, in a social media post stated the reason he accused the senator representing Kaduna central, distinguished senator Uba Sani of being bias.
Funom Kato made a post on Sunday, accusing the senator of paying attention to his Muslim Constituents while ignoring the Christians, after the senator donated five million Naira to a Qur’an recitation centre in Kaduna.
“Distinguished Senator Uba Sani, we also have Bible recitation Center here in Kaduna central. If you Empower one, ideally you are supposed to empower the other one except you have an unforeseen agenda which I don’t think so. If truly you want to rule Kaduna State then you have to learn to think deep by carrying all religions, tribes etc along. Distinguished Senator if God blesses you with twins (Quran and Bible recitations Centers) as Children and you bought one shoes and you snub the other one, what do you think will happen? The Senator must know the truth and avoid praise singers
who are after their selfish needs disregarding the well-being of the masses,” he wrote.
After receiving backlash for his Sunday’s post, he made a lengthy one to explain further. He said, “Unarguably, i remain a true and bonafide member of the APC.I am one of those that fought doggedly for this administration to come to power, which God gave us the victory and as such i will not blind my eyes to wrong doings or refuse to address it.” “My father always say and I quote “anywhere you find yourself try by all means to be truthful no matter what it will cause you”. I don’t present issues without facts and those who truly know me and know what i stand for can attest to that. What prompted my yesterday’s post was very deep reflection and it has nothing to do with Bigotry and as such shouldn’t be Religious correlated. No fault of mine if you lack the capacity to digest it unbiasedly.Mutumina has evidence of invitations and letters sent to the Distinguished Senator Kaduna central through His Central Constituency office which were never been given any attention to. I and other APC members tried everything possible to present many invitation letters for programs which include that of CDA’s and Church programs, but none of them were acknowledged. Is this a clear indication that he only attend or listen to others and not minding the other part despite we being members of the same party? Don’t we all have equal rights to present invitation letters to him? If our invitation cannot get to him physically, then the only option we have is to send the letters to him through Social media platforms. Whatever is making me to voice out is for the progress of our dear ruling party, as such if we are doing everything possible to win more people to the party and such attitude is put on, it frustrates our efforts, looking at the sensitivity of such actions towards the people and the forthcoming election because the stone, which the builders rejects can turnout to be the chief cornerstone that solidifies the building.Hence, everyone is important as far as APC is concerned. Politics is a game of numbers and not the game of few myopic individuals that are just out to grab for their selfish interests and not minding the common man on streets who are our prospective voters. If the masses don’t enjoy the present political dividends justly, how do you expect them to change their mindsets towards our dear party? for us to succeed you have to also water the ground for us to have safe landing. I voice out my mind for posterity sake.”
