Senator Danjuma La’ah Denies Decamping To NNPP, Says He Is Not A Coward

The senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial district, Senator Danjuma La’ah has debunked the claim that he defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), after he failed to clinch the People’s Democratic Party’s Senatorial ticket.

In a statement signed by his DG Media, Mr Nathan Mavis Akau, made available to KADUNA POLITICAL AFFAIRS on Saturday, the Senator stated that he is not a do or die Politician.

He added that the owners of the story aren’t comfortable because they knew that the outcome of the primary election wasn’t the voice of the people.

He urged those that think he would abandon the PDP to have a rethink because he is not known to be a coward.

The statement reads, “Kindly disregard rumors going round from mischievous and fraudulent quarters that the Senator has decamped to another party.”
“The owners of the story ain’t still comfortable because they knew the outcome of the primaries wasn’t the voice of the people!”

“The senator is not a do or die Politician. The good people of southern kaduna and PDP gave him the mandate since 2015 and he still doing his best to fulfill that mandate as a Senator and the Senate Deputy Minority Whip under the party.”

“He urge those that think he would abandoned the party just like to have a rethink because he is not known to be a coward. He will never be even after a well scripted primaries!”

“He wish to thank his teaming supporters and admirers for the great support he has been enjoying and still enjoying.”

“He urged all to remain calm, as he would soon release an official statement on the aftermath of the PDP Senate primaries which took place in kafanchan.”
